More than 7 million tickets will go on salefor the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which is more than the number oftickets  1            (sell) in the 2004 Athens Games, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Gamesof the 29th Olympiad (BOCOG) said on Friday.

Of the tickets, about 4.9 million, 2            70 per centwill be sold within China and the rest 30 per cent will be sold abroad.
