Guilin(Xinhua)—ABoeing 737 jet plane crashed the day before yesterday near Guilin in SouthChina, killing all 133 passengers and eight crew members.

Amongthe passengers killed in the crash were one Canadian, two Spaniards, nine fromMacao. Their names are not yet known.

Officialssay that the plane was flying from Guangzhou to Guilin when it crashed.Witnesses said that at 7: 45 a. m. they saw the jet belch smoke before it hitthe mountain and exploded into pieces. Searching operations immediately beganafter the plane crashed.
