After 35 years, we had to move out of our home．How did one say good-bye to a house? As the porters moved our furniture into their truck, I thought 1 to the nights when thunder and lightning drove our two small daughters from their rooms．These two girls, now grown women came by to say 2 to their house．They walked from room to room, laughing and crying, 3 events that shaped their lives．

Thirty-five years 4, we had come to this house with 5 and hope．Not all the years were joyous．Sickness and loss of dear ones were with us constantly．But always, our comforting house 6 us and helped renew our spirits．We grew old but not so our house．7 by tall trees and flowering bushes, it became more beautiful, more 8, and more solid．

The new caretakers of our house were young．We prayed they would be happy．We knew we would never live in our home 9．But memories are lasting and we have no 10．
