Recently, our class has held a heated discussion aboutwhether evening classes should be cancelled. Opinions vary from person toperson.
Some of them are in favor of the idea that the eveningclasses should be cancelled. To begin with, cancelling evening classesmeans that they have more time for autonomous learning and resting. Besides,students will have more time to develop their hobbies such as reading, playingsports, drawing and so on.
However, others object to this idea. From their pointof view, compared with studying at home, studying at school may lead to highstudy efficiency. What’s more, the problems existing in study can be dealt withas soon as possible by means of communicating with teachers and cooperatingwith classmates.
Weighing pros and cons, I prefer studying athome because I’m willing to form the habit of being independent and I’minclined to arrange study time myself.
