A recent survey shows that the health of the students inour school has been going from bad to worse in the past three years. The numberof nearsighted students has increased from 78.2% in 2002 to 92.5% in 2005,while that of overweight, from 36% to 52.4%. Nearly 10% more students lacksleep because of more homework to do. Besides, over 15% more students becomementally unhealthy.

To improvestudents’ health,we call for less homework. Only in this way can students get plenty of sleepand meanwhile prevent them from being nearsighted. Proper diets and exerciseshould also be paid attention to so that they won’teasily put on weight. With their heavy burdens removed, students can then keepin normal mental health.
