Should students make friends online?
Some people say yes. The Internet helpsstudents make many friends. Chatting online, students can express theirfeelings and opinions more freely and even get help with their foreign languagestudies.
Others, however, think students should notmake online friends. They think it a waste of time to make friends online,which should be spent more meaningfully on their studies. Otherwise, theirnormal studies will be much affected. Besides, some students may even getcheated online.
From my point of view, making friendsonline is harmful rather than helpful. Students should think of their study,health and safety first. As for friendship, we can easily find it in ourclassmates and other people around us.
