Since I have learned   to sayGerman well in Germany, I thought it might be  interested to beginstudying another language. At the first class, the teacher asked us to do apronunciation  exercise, in it he would say a word or two in French,and each student would do their best to copy. When  my turn came, he kepthaving me to say more words, and  I  finally asked him why. "Ifind  great fun, "he explained . "In 25 years of teaching atschool, it's the first time that I have heard a American speak Frenchwith a German accent(口音) ."
