There are four oceans in the world and the Indian Ocean is the third largest one. Only the Pacific and the Atlantic are larger. The Indian Ocean is extremely important to the countries in Southeast Asia. Strong winds from the Indian Ocean bring warm weather and heavy rains which are necessary for growing crops.
