Dr Michael Mosley’s cause of death has been revealed, after it was claimed he died just a few hours after the final moments he spent with his wife.

Dr Clare Bailey Mosley confirmed a body discovered on Sunday morning in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach on the Greek island of Symi was that of her husband, describing the loss as ‘devastating’.

A spokesman for the coroner told the publication: ‘It looks like it was a fall but we need establish whether he had a medical episode before that and it will take time.’
